Abstract

Introduction. This article examines the cognitive foundations of personalized learning based on networked information blocks (chunks). The authors develop the classical pedagogical model of N. V. Kuzmina, adapting it to the modern conditions of digitalization in education. The proposed personalized learning system includes five interrelated components: gnostic, design, constructive, organizational, and communicative. Purpose setting. The study aims to address the mismatch between traditional linear formats of presenting educational materials and the individual cognitive characteristics of learners, as well as to explore new approaches to organizing the educational process in the digital age. The research task is decomposed as follows: 1. Theoretical justification and design of a personalized learning model by modernizing the classical five-component functional model of N. V. Kuzmina, incorporating advances in cognitive psychology and artificial intelligence technologies. 2. Development of a structure for information blocks (chunks) as fundamental units of educational content with properties of self-sufficiency, compactness, connectivity with other blocks, and measurability of mastery. 3. Design and implementation of personalization algorithms for educational trajectories based on collaborative and content-based filtering, hybrid approaches, deep learning methods, and reinforcement learning.  4. Development and testing of a digital Assistant based on large language models to implement autodidactic principles in personalized learning. 5. Experimental validation of the developed system’s effectiveness in the process of professional development for educators in the field of digital competencies. The widespread integration of information and telecommunication technologies in education and the evolving demands of the labor market necessitate changes not only in the content but also in the educational process itself for all categories of learners. Therefore, it is essential to consider new cognitive opportunities for personalized learning based on networked information blocks, which can ensure effective learner-centered education for both students and participants in additional education programs. Methodology and methods of the study. The methodological foundation of the study is a functional five-component model adapted by the authors to the modern conditions of digitalization in education. The research employs an interdisciplinary approach, integrating cognitive psychology, educational design principles, and neural network theory. The theoretical basis includes: G. A. Miller’s research on short-term memory («Miller’s Wallet»), H. A. Simon’s studies on «chunking» as a mechanism for developing expert competence, J. Sweller’s cognitive load theory, and R. Mayer’s multimedia learning theory. The research methodology includes designing a personalized learning system based on networked information blocks (chunks). Results. This study has developed and implemented a «digital Assistant» for autodidactic learning based on large language models. An experimental pilot program for professional development was conducted with the participation of 100 educators. The development of key digital competencies was monitored through a system of regular assessment activities. A statistical analysis of the effectiveness of the proposed personalization algorithms for educational trajectories was presented. As part of the study, diagnostic tools were modified to assess educators’ digital competencies, identify professional deficiencies, and determine individual educational needs. The results of the pilot program were evaluated using a vector-based assessment model that considers navigation patterns in educational content, the semantic density of material comprehension, and the temporal dynamics of learning. Conclusion. The proposed personalized learning system based on networked information blocks (chunks) effectively enhances the classical pedagogical model by adapting it to the digital education environment. Structuring educational materials as a network of interconnected chunks aligns with the psychological characteristics of cognitive processes. Developed personalization algorithms include collaborative and content-based filtering, hybrid approaches, deep learning, and reinforcement learning methods. The integration of a digital Assistant based on large language models facilitates the implementation of M. Montessori’s autodidactic principles in a modern digital format, enabling learners to construct their own educational trajectories. Experimental validation of the professional development model for educators confirmed the effectiveness of the proposed system. The proposed vector-based assessment model considers navigation patterns, semantic density, and temporal dynamics of learning.

Abstract

Introduction. The article analyzes an individual’s opportunities to exercise their freedom within vocational education, specifically their personal desires, interests, and needs. The problem of defining the essence of the philosophical category of freedom has been relevant since antiquity, therefore, the philosophical understanding of freedom is multifaceted, and its content largely depends on the level of development of society, the influence of moral and ethical beliefs, their dependence on religious beliefs characteristic of a particular society at a certain stage of its development, the level of development of industrial relations in society and many other factors. The category of freedom also applies to understanding the essence and content of relations in the field of vocational education, since it characterizes the sources of volitional action of an individual who is faced with choosing the direction of his future professional activity, or with the need to receive professional education in the context of professional retraining, which is caused by the need to adapt to new socio-economic realities. Purpose setting. Based on the analysis of ideas about freedom in the history of philosophy, to identify the features of its manifestation in the field of professional education, including the dependence on external factors on the possibility of its implementation. The relevance of the issue under consideration is related to the formation of new conditions for obtaining professional education, in which, on the one hand, a person receives broader opportunities to realize his natural abilities and achieve individually significant goals, but, on the other hand, realizing freedom of choice in obtaining a profession, an individual cannot be sure that these acquired professional knowledge and skills will ensure He has an indefinite period of access to material and social benefits., which society can provide him with if he participates in socially useful work, which is caused by changing working conditions within the framework of new technological structures that create the foundations of the digital economy. As a result of the conducted research, the author comes to the conclusion that in the modern world, against the background of increasing access to professional knowledge, a person is faced with the need to incur such expenses for vocational education, which often makes a choice not in favor of realizing their natural inclinations and goals, but in favor of the direction that will allow them to receive professional education on a «budget basis». At its core, it can be considered as a personal conflict of interests, which can only be resolved by changes in the social policy of the state. Methodology and methods of the study. The study relies on classical source analysis methods and philosophical analysis of texts accumulated over centuries of studying the phenomenon of freedom. This approach allowed us to trace the evolution of views on professional self-determination. Through the prism of philosophical categories, the author analyzes the choice of specialty as a social action that determines an individual’s future status and opportunities in society. Results. This article analyzes an individual’s professional choices within the philosophical framework of individual freedom. The work reveals the potential for conflict in the interaction between the individual and the state, as the professional interests of individuals often conflict with the pragmatic needs of the state. Conclusion. The author concludes that professional education in the modern world, despite the apparent accessibility of professional knowledge, is subject to numerous restrictions that hinder the individual’s freedom to choose their future career. As a result, a kind of «personal» conflict of interest arises between the individual and the state, which can only be resolved through changes in state  policy.

Abstract

Introduction. Digitalization and modern media are an integral part of the daily lives of young people and their natural environment for communication, self-expression, and personalized consumption. Therefore, the issue of state youth policy in the field of digitalization is extremely relevant, affecting both the training of young highly qualified personnel and the transformation of the education system. Purpose setting. The article aims to analyze the mechanisms for integrating state youth policy and informatization in the context of the formation of a «digitally mature» society. To achieve this goal, the following tasks are addressed: analysis of the regulatory framework; identification of specific forms and methods of interaction with young people within the framework of national and federal projects; analysis of the integration of digital achievements into the education and upbringing system. Methodology and methods of the study. The author of the article relies on a systemic-institutional approach and uses such methods as legal analysis, content analysis, systems analysis, secondary analysis of statistical data, monitoring of internet communications, as well as the case study method. Results. A comprehensive regulatory framework has been identified, including the «Strategy for the Development of the Information Society in the Russian Federation for 2017–2030,» as well as the national projects «Youth and Children» and «Data Economy and Digital Transformation of the State.» This framework represents an interconnected system in which technological infrastructure enters into a symbiotic relationship with educational practices. At the same time, risks associated with the use of artificial intelligence and neural networks in the educational process have been identified, requiring administrative decisions. Conclusion. Russian youth policy in the field of information technology is creating a successful technological infrastructure for developing digital competencies and patriotic education, and it also facilitates the career advancement of young people, ensuring the achievement of «digital maturity» of society and technological sovereignty. However, the widespread implementation of artificial intelligence and neural networks requires the development of systemic legal and regulatory frameworks that would prevent intellectual passivity and the diminished cognitive capabilities of young  people.

Abstract

Introduction. From the point of view of the philosophy of education, students have a clip type of thinking, which has a negative impact on their ability to holistic, reflexive and narrative thinking. We attribute this to the changing ways and speed of information consumption in the digital age, leading to anthropological shifts in human perception and thinking. In this article, the authors consider popular music as a kind of such information. Problem statement. The purpose of the study is to identify and substantiate the structural changes in popular music influenced by the clip perception of the audience. Methodology and research methods. The object of the research is the influence of clip thinking on the transformation of forms of mass cultural consumption. The subject of the research is the philosophical aspects of changes in the nature of cultural perception and reflexive abilities in the professional education system. The authors hypothesize that the content of popular music reflects its adaptation to the clip perception of the audience. The main research methods are materialistic, analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, and statistical analysis. The metrics of streaming services used are the average track length, the length of the track to the first vocal, the structural density and the speed of change of sections, simplification of harmonic and melodic structure. The sample size for the survey was 143 respondents. Results. The analysis of scientific publications shows the positive and negative characteristics of clip thinking. Popular music reflects its inherent cognitive practices. Considering it from the point of view of the ontology of actor-network theory, we note that the time of the works has become perceived as non-linear, the affect event is the replacement of narrative with instant emotions, playlists of streaming services resemble networks, instead of the hidden meaning of the work, its depth, surface effects are offered. Our statistical analysis of respondents’ ratings of music tracks confirms the noted structural changes in popular music consistent with the patterns of clip thinking. There are correlations between the rate of appearance of the motif, the structural compactness of the work, and the dynamism of development. The authors proved the influence of the respondents’ age on musical preferences and behavioral patterns, as well as significant differences in holistic orientations in the perception of music by professional groups. The conducted empirical research complements the theoretical achievements of scientists. The authors proved the need to form a hybrid form of thinking that combines fragmentary perception, narrative thinking, the use of system analysis and deep reflection skills. Conclusion. Clip-style perception should not be viewed exclusively in negative terms. On the one hand, it serves an adaptive function under conditions of information overload; on the other, it may constrain the depth of material comprehension. The study confirmed the hypothesised relationship between the transformation of structural parameters in contemporary musical production and the specific features of audience perception. The observed changes are multifaceted and hold relevance both for philosophical inquiry and for pedagogical practice, underscoring the need to revise educational approaches in the digital   environment.

Abstract

Introduction. Higher education is being transformed under the influence of the widespread adoption of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI), which creates risks of reduced criticality and reflective skills among students. In contrast to previous studies focusing on workload and implementation algorithms, this research focuses on students’ reflective strategies. Purpose setting. The aim is an in-depth analysis of students’ reflective practices when using GenAI in project-based activities, including self-assessment of responsibility, editing strategies, and differentiated content quality evaluation. Methodology and methods of the study. The study is based on a mixed post-experience methodology using an adapted NASA-TLX questionnaire and an author-designed survey. The sample consists of 64 students who completed a business «packaging» project using GenAI. Results. A gap was identified between declared responsibility (92 %) and the actual depth of content revision (32 % make less than 30 % changes). The main reason for editing (75 %) was the AI’s inability to account for specific contextual nuances. Only 25 % of students use metacognitive strategies. Conclusion. The pedagogical task is to organize a learning environment where GenAI enhances learning but does not replace students’ reflective and critical  thinking.

Abstract

Introduction. Today, multiculturalism is one of the most important factors in training specialists in non-linguistic educational institutions. This is due to the fact that it contributes to the formation of a common cultural space and mutual understanding between people. The ability to both speak a foreign language and understand it in the context of culture is a necessary foundation for a high level of professionalism of students in the future. Purpose setting. This work is aimed at improving the competence of perception of foreign languages as a method of social communication, which are an integral part of building relationships with native speakers of another language, and is also designed to help broaden horizons and form an aesthetic perception of the culture of another country. Methodology and methods of the study. The use of such a factor as multiculturalism in the framework of teaching a foreign language also makes it possible to solve one of the most important problems directly related to the formation of a single intercultural space, in particular in preparation for a specific profession. The process of teaching English in higher education institutions, where linguistics is not the main focus, provides opportunities for the formation of important competencies related to knowledge of a foreign language, including understanding the culture and mentality of native speakers. The article examines the features of the formation of educational programs for learning a foreign language in a multicultural context within the framework of Russian non-linguistic universities. Results. To increase the level of interest in learning a foreign language in non-linguistic universities, it is necessary to monitor digitalization and introduce appropriate digital materials and learning tools, including in the context of intercultural communication with educational institutions in other countries, where students can immerse themselves in the international space and improve communication skills by communicating with native speakers. Conclusions. The expansion of foreign language teaching methods allows a foreign language teacher at a non-linguistic university to choose those methods that are most relevant to a specific group of students. The latter allows us to meet the needs of students, as well as increase their interest and create an individual way of learning a foreign  language.

Abstract

Introduction. The relevance of the study is driven by the need to shift higher education towards an interdisciplinary model of personnel training capable of ensuring Russia’s technological sovereignty, as well as by the development of open scientific infrastructure and the integration of research data. Traditional educational approaches lag behind the rapid renewal of knowledge, necessitating a reassessment of the role of research libraries and open educational resources within the emerging ecosystem. Purpose setting. The aim of this work is to substantiate the place and functions of the research library in the architecture of the interdisciplinary educational ecosystem as a system-forming integration hub in the context of the development of open access resources. Methodology and methodology of the study. The methodology is grounded in systemic, interdisciplinary, and ecosystem approaches. The empirical basis of the study included policy documents, scholarly publications on library transformation, as well as an analysis of Russian and international practices in building information environments. Results. The study proposes a four-level architecture of the educational ecosystem, in which the infrastructural core is formed by research libraries and OER. Three types of interdisciplinary open resources are identified. It is shown that libraries are transforming from passive repositories into active integration hubs (digital hubs), performing the functions of expertise, navigation, overcoming communication barriers, and initiating the creation of new resources. Conclusions. The practical significance of the model lies in its applicability by universities and libraries for designing frameworks and tools to support interdisciplinary learning. The developed concept constitutes a theoretically grounded instrument for the transformation of libraries in the context of the challenges of technological sovereignty and the development of open  science.

Abstract

Introduction. The article presents an analysis of the psychological phenomenon of «stress resistance» in operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and the results of empirical studies. Purpose setting. The study aims to assess the stress resistance of operators and to outline potential pathways for fostering the development of adaptive personality traits. Methodology and methods of the study. The methodological basis of the study includes selected provisions of V. S. Merlin’s theory of integral individuality. The main research methods were: observation, analysis of virtual subjectivity, survey methods (questionnaires, interviews, conversations), testing, and design-based technologies. Additionally, psychological assessment methods and tests were used to identify operators’ stress resistance and to analyse their professional suitability. A total of 62 male UAV operators aged 25–35, engaged in professional activities at various facilities in the Northwestern Federal District, were examined. Psychological personality parameters were recorded using a professional computerised polygraph with dedicated research techniques. This device is integrated into the psychologist’s automated workstation (AWS) and includes AI-based components. Results. The study substantiates the specificity and necessity of distinguishing the relevant field within psychological science. It is demonstrated that the respondents can be divided into two groups: those with an optimal level of stress resistance and those with an insufficiently developed level. The qualitative analysis conducted within the framework of the concept of the psychology of the adapting personality enabled the formulation of individual recommendations for the respondents in the latter group. The ideas of the theory of integral individuality, which possess considerable potential, contributed to a deeper understanding of the term «stress resistance». Specific features of the impact of information-related stress under conditions of risk when working with high-tech solutions were identified. This led to the conclusion that it is necessary not only to carry out a systematic assessment of UAV operators’ readiness to act under risk conditions – taking into account the strength of the nervous system, resistance to stimuli, and the level of anxiety – but also to focus on key assessment points («reper points»). Conclusion. The study establishes the need for systematic psychological research involving operators in the information-virtual space of operator activities, given the necessity for them to demonstrate maximum stress resistance. This need is particularly relevant due to the currently insufficient focus on developing this personality trait. The issue gains even greater significance in light of the prospective use of other types of weapons, including laser, neuropsychological, electromagnetic, and related  systems.

Abstract

Introduction. The article is devoted to the study of the family as the primary environment in which ways of coping with difficulties are formed and transmitted across generations; the authors consider emotional communication between parents and children as a channel of such transmission. Purpose setting. The discourse of the research field is the intergenerational transmission of coping strategies. The purpose of the work is to establish the relationship between the characteristics of family emotional communications in the parental family and the coping strategies of adult children and to assess the extent to which emotional communication acts as a link in such transmission. Methodology and methods of the study. The study was conducted on 132 parent – adult child dyads (264 individuals) on the basis of the cognitive theory of stress and the concept of family emotional communications; the Family Emotional Communications questionnaire by A. B. Kholmogorova, S. V. Volikova, M. G. Sorokova, the Brief COPE scale by C. Carver in the author’s family modification, and a socio-demographic questionnaire were applied; the data were processed using correlation, regression and mediation analysis. Results. Intergenerational continuity was established for the scales criticism, fixation on negative experiences, family perfectionism and the overall index. An increase in the overall dysfunctionality of family communications is associated with the strengthening of dysfunctional coping and the weakening of problem-oriented coping in adult children, while the prohibition on expressing emotions complicates seeking emotional support. A diagonal similarity of the coping profiles of parent and child within dyads was found, and mediation analysis confirmed the partial mediation of the transmission of dysfunctional coping by the characteristics of family communications. Conclusion. The data clarify the psychological mechanism of coping behavior fostering in the family  context.

Abstract

Introduction. The study of universal human values lies in the field of life-meaning issues. Analysis of historical and cultural changes in the content of the value of beauty seems relevant. Purpose setting. Systematization of ideas about beauty in their historical dynamics, designation of approaches to the study of this concept and the role of beauty in modern society that have formed in culture. Methodology and methods of the study. Logical and methodological approach allows us to consider the value of beauty at different levels of consciousness; logical and historical reconstruction of the development of the content of the value of beauty; ethical and practical definition of communicative functions of beauty; sociological survey method. Results. The article presents the ancient and medieval tradition in understanding beauty (Plato, Plotinus, Thomas Aquinas), understanding of beauty in the Renaissance and Modern Times (Alberti, Kant), understanding of beauty in Russian philosophy (V. S. Soloviev, N. A. Berdyaev, F. M. Dostoevsky). The peculiarity of the modern approach to the study of beauty is indicated. The results of an anonymous survey of people of different ages on their attitudes toward beauty are described. Conclusion. The content and status of beauty have undergone historical transformations. Distinguished notions include the ancient Greek and medieval interpretation of beauty as an intelligible essence of the divine order, associated with harmony; the Renaissance image of a harmonious world and humanity; Kant’s capacity for aesthetic judgment; the revival in Russian philosophy of the idea of the unity of truth, goodness, and beauty, and of beauty as the embodiment of a unifying idea; and the contemporary socio-psychological interpretation of beauty. In modern society, the status of beauty within the system of other human values has been reduced to a functional   value.

Abstract

The article examines cultural alienation arising from the use of AI tools in foreign language teaching in a semi-peripheral educational context, drawing on data from the Mongolian National University of Education. The study is motivated by the rapid spread of Anglo-centric language models (ChatGPT, DeepL, Grammarly) in academic settings where no local AI alternatives exist. The theoretical framework synthesizes the global language system concept (A. de Swaan), world-systems analysis (Wallerstein), hybrid identity theory (Bhabha, Hall), postcolonial EFL pedagogy (Canagarajah, Pennycook), and a socio-axiological approach to language education. This article is conceptual-theoretical in nature; empirical data collected through student surveys (n = 82) and qualitative interviews (n = 6) serve an illustrative function and do not claim to verify theoretical propositions in a strict sense. Cultural alienation is differentiated into two structural subtypes: content distortion, whereby AI substitutes culturally specific concepts with neutral equivalents, and rhetorical normalization, whereby Western discursive conventions are imposed at the level of text style and structure. Sub-scale data show that 78.1 % of students noticed content distortion and approximately 80 % experienced rhetorical normalization. Three differentiated pedagogical strategies are proposed in response: cultural anchoring, targeting content distortion; critical analysis of AI suggestions, addressing rhetorical normalization; and reflective writing as a comprehensive tool for developing conscious AI use. Findings are most directly transferable to post-Soviet and Central Asian semi-peripheral educational systems; their extension to other semi-peripheral contexts requires dedicated comparative  research.

Abstract

The transition of the higher education system to a new stage of development requires a shift in emphasis from the predominant orientation towards the development of competencies to the purposeful personal and professional development of the student. The existing competency-based model of the graduate needs a conceptual revision. As a methodological basis for designing the socio-humanitarian part of the unified core of higher education, a culturological approach is proposed, integrating anthropological, axiological, personality-oriented and system-activity approaches. The socio-humanitarian culture of a person is considered as an integral system of value orientations, intellectual strategies and activity attitudes. The composition of the disciplines of the socio-humanitarian core is substantiated. The implementation of the core in the first year ensures the formation of the value-semantic foundation of the professional’s personality.
