Development of professional reliability as an investment in human capital

Abstract

The article considers the relevance of the development issue of professional reliability as an investment in human capital in the modern world. The history of ongoing research in professional reliability is taken into account, which influenced the methods of its improvement and, as a consequence, the result quality, efficiency, thereby affecting profit and material benefits. The article defines the concept of the subject’s professional reliability itself with consideration of the changing requirements. Continuous development of information society dictates the need to analyze professional reliability from the perspective of various approaches to its study, understanding, formation, and maintenance at the required level. The article analyzes humanistic, axiological, spiritual and moral, systemic-situational, cognitive-behavioral, epistemological, resource approaches. Each of these approaches reflects different perspectives on the hierarchy of main indicators of professional reliability, which must be of prior attention to achieve the desired level of development of the given integrative quality. The paper reflects the classification of professional reliability based on the conditions of professional activity and types of professions. It attempts to consider the development of professional reliability at professionalization different stages. The author analyzes methods of achieving a high level of professional reliability previously used in science, emphases the need for continuous accounting of "databases" affected the model of professional reliability, composition of professionally important qualities of the professional activity subject [6]. The article shows the mutual influence of professionally important qualities and professional reliability due to the need to take into account the subject’s psychological readiness for sustainable performance of professional activities, considering the norms and requirements, regardless of external and internal conditions. A significant factor in this context is the influence of the goal towards achieving a high level of the professional reliability development.
