It was decided to establish the journal “Professional education in the modern world” by Resolution of Academic council of federal state budgetary educational establishment of higher education “Novosibirsk state agrarian university” Protocol №1 from 31th of January 2011 year. At 21th of March 2011 year Rector of the University - A.S. Denisov signed a decree №107-о “About approval of editor-in-chief, deputy editor-in-chief, academic secretary and editorial board, regulations of journal “Professional education in the modern world””.

V.I. Parshikov - Doctor of Philosophical Sc., professor, pro-recto-directorr IAPE FSBEE HE “Novosibirsk SAU” was the editor-in-chief of journal beginning from 2011 year and till 17 of April 2014 year. And at present he is a curator of this journal.

Chernykh S.I. - Doctor of Philosophical Sc., Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Philosophy at Novosibirsk SAU is an editor-in-chief of this journal from 17 of April 2014 year till present.

Editorial board consists of  5 foreign and 22 domestic scientists. From Russian scientists the editorial board is presented by 1 Academician of RAE and Corresponding Member of RAE, 12 Doctors of Philosophical Sc., 7  Doctors of Pedagogical Sc., Doctor of Chemical Sc., Doctor of Engineering Sc. and Candidate of  Engineering Sc.. There are 3  Doctors of Philosophical Sc., Doctor of Natural Sc. and Doctor of Veterinary Sc. from abroad.

Journal registered at the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology, and Mass Media (Roscomnadzor): Сertificate PE № FC 77 - 45179 from 18th of May 2011 year.

The certificate about appropriation the international standard number of serial edition  ISSN 2224-1841 had given to journal at 22th of August 2011 year, that provides the information about it in appropriate international abstract editions.

At present, the geography of journal spreads to 60 towns in Russia and more than 10 foreign countries. Journal’s bibliography during this period includes about 500 titles.

From 2011 year till present the journal included in Russian index scientific citation.

1th of December 2015 year journal was included in new list of reviewed editions of HAC (the letter of the Ministry of education and science of the RF № 13-6518 from 01. 12. 2015).

In 2015 year the journal enters into Association of scientific editors and publishers (ASEP) managed by president O.V. Kirillova.

Journal had got a minor gold medal 19th of March at the exhibition “UchSib-2016”.

Journal had got Diploma of first level at 14th of July 2016 year at the III competition of establishment’s editions (departments of universities) APE, that are subordinated of Ministry of Agriculture of Russia “Knowledge to experts” in nomination “The best serial edition”.

From 2015 year the constant work is conducting for raising the quantitative level and increasing the availability of journal by its indexing in leading foreign databases.

In 2015 year the journal was included in international citing database   Ulrich’s Periodicals Directory. Beginning from 2016 year the journal signed an agreement with the company  EBSCO Publishing, that is the biggest aggregator of full-text and bibliographic databases.
