Abstract
The article deals with the design features of modular educational programs and their application in additional professional education, as well as in the conditions of professional development and retraining. The authors of the article made an attempt to highlight the features inherent in educational modules, declared the competitive advantages of modular educational programs. The features of designing modular educational programs in additional professional education are formulated.
