Abstract

The article reveals the fact that model of personal behavior formed in the Soviet era was based on recognition of high value of health and caring health provided by Institute of Healthcare. But declared health value didn’t prevent a welfare mentality, lack of personal responsibility and motivation that appeared to be unwillingness of younger generation to conscious behavior in contexts of society transformation.. The researchers suppose ignorance of the youth development peculiarities, underdevelopment of healthy lifestyle, lack of systematic family education and school education to be the reasons of irresponsible attitude to health.
