Статья посвящена рассмотрению семантико-педагогического аспекта формирования профессиональной компетентности студентов неязыковых специальностей вузов, в частности студентов химического факультета. Актуальность темы обусловлена проблемой осмысления и формирования у студентов логико-семантического мышления, а также с модернизацией процесса обучения в области преподавания иностранного языка в вузах. Необходимость решения новых задач способствовала появлению новой парадигмы компетентностного подхода к высшему профессиональному образованию. Основной целью изучения иностранного языка в высших учебных заведениях становится развитие у обучающихся иноязычной коммуникативной компетенции, которая позволит им максимально интегрироваться в международную профессиональную среду, что является важным условием для социальной адаптации студентов к современной жизни, успешности которой будет способствовать профессиональноориентированная база умений и навыков. Одним из подходов, позволяющих реализовать это условие на практике, является использование в образовательном процессе метода семантических полей для усовершенствования процесса усвоения иноязычных лексических элементов и интенсификации приобретения студентами необходимой лексической базы. Данный метод может быть успешно применен для развития навыка восприятия (чтение, перевод, пересказ) иноязычного текста как цельного с пониманием его смысла в целом, а не как набора отдельных лексических единиц. В статье также отмечена высокая роль заинтересованности студента в изучении иностранных языков и повышении продуктивности образовательного процесса. Использование в ходе обучения профессионально ориентированных текстов, близких к направлению к дальнейшей деятельности будущих специалистов, позволяет повысить уровень заинтересованности учащихся и как следствие развить внутреннюю мотивацию к получению новых знаний.
The article is devoted to the consideration of the semantic-pedagogical aspect of the formation of professional competence of students of non-linguistic specialties of universities, in particular, students of the chemical faculty. Relevance of the topic is connected with the problem of comprehension and modernization of the learning process in the field of teaching a foreign language in universities and the formation of students’ logical-semantic thinking. Necessity to solve new problems has caused emergence of a new paradigm of competence-based approach to higher professional education. The main aim of learning a foreign language in higher education is becoming the development of students’ foreign language communicative competence which will allow them to integrate as much as possible into the international professional community. This is an important condition for the social adaptation of students to modern life. The necessary condition is the formation of a vocationally-orientated base of abilities and skill. One of the approaches that make it possible to realize this condition in practice is the use of the method of semantic fields in the educational process to improve the approach to the digestion of foreign lexical elements and the intensification of the student’s acquisition of the necessary lexical base. This method can be successfully used to develop the skill of perception (reading, translation, paraphrase) of a foreign language text not as separate lexical units, but as the content of sense in general. The article also noted the high role of the student’s interest in learning foreign languages and increasing the productivity of the educational process. Using in the course of training professionally oriented texts close to the direction of future activities of future specialists allows to increase the level of students’ interest and, as a consequence, to develop the internal motivation to obtaining new knowledge.
